4. Gabe’s Downtown Restaurant

A contemporary take on classic Louisiana food. Whether you are craving shrimp, alligator, sausage or crab - Gabe’s has it all. Their shrimp and grits are to die for! Go ahead get the fried green tomatoes appetizer along with it, you won’t regret it.

5.Gumbeaux’s Cajun Cafe

Another fantastic place to chow down on classic Louisiana food. You’ll leave with full stomachs (and hearts), thanks to their down to earth, family atmosphere. One dish we love is the Seafood Rotini! Packed full with shrimp, sausage, crawfish, and crab all sautéed in a creamy sauce.

8. Uncorked on Main

Enjoy beautiful scenery and charming esthetics at Uncorked on Main. Set on the north side of the train tracks in Historic Villa Rica, this quaint spot has all the feels of a hometown steakhouse. One dish we highly recommend is the North Atlantic Salmon. It's an 8 oz fillet, topped with hollandaise sauce, roasted stoned ground grits, zucchini and a squash medley.

Sandwiches, customized pizzas, and salads galore! With this farm to table restaurant, you’ll be blown away by the fresh vegetables. It's located in the heart of Downtown Douglasville besides the train tracks, so you’re sure to feel this old town’s picturesque esthetics. If you are going to try one thing on the menu, be sure to check out their Vine Chipotle Chicken. It has yummy ingredients like chipotle grilled chicken, mixed greens, turkey bacon, and cheese all drizzled with chipotle sauce.
